The Top-3 e-commerce retailer in Ukraine for car tires and wheels with up to 1M monthly visitors in the hot season.

At the moment, this company is the most well-known Retailer in Ukraine by the turn-over volume. And even by the import volume as an official dealer of top tires brands such as Goodyear, Michelin, Continental and many more others. With warehouses in three ukrainian megapolises: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv.

We can see the confirmation of it by Similarweb Report for 2019 year. It is based on the following criteria: monthly visitors traffic, country rate and industry rate

Ambitious to be a Market Leader?

It was a challenge from the beginning when we've discussed this project with our Client. They wanted to become TOP-10 retailer in this niche inside the country in 2 years from zero. Even willing to push out the well-known leader of that time Rezina.cc and others.

And it was possible because our customer was experienced ex-top-manager of that great competitor.

It was a path of attempts, fails, tests, analysis, brainstorms and sometimes even fights. Balance between the Art of Client's project management and our consultancy. Research for a lot of possible solutions and choosing the best of them.

First business processes

First of all, we've created it based on our own e-commerce platform, P-Cart. And with integration to accounting system 1C including Product Information Management (PIM).

A lot of excel pricelists from many ukrainian tires providers was collected daily in 1C. To define the most optimal price and real stock for each of 40 000 products.

It was tons of exchanging information every minute between web-project and accounting system: new products, pictures, prices, stocks, orders.

Improving the design

Then it was a challenge to implement a new design. Because of it always tricky to work with external designers who don't dive deeply into the project. And make some template mockups changing sexy girls for tires and rims.

So we need to provide the most convenient way for site visitors to choose easily the optimal product for each one.

Products filtration

It could be a usual thing to make a convenient filtration of products by parameters like size, brand, season, price range. But for tires and rims it is a bit challenging, because inside one category we have tens of thouthands of tires or rims.

Especially in a hot season when hundreds of visitors explore your web-site at the same time.

Sometimes visitor doesn't know exactly parameters of tires for own car. Even it could be different for winter and summer. But it is quite enough to know the car model and get suitable products.
